What is B Corp & why recertification matters?

B Corp is a global seal of approval for companies that put people and the planet on the same level as profit.

To become certified, companies must score at least 80 points in the B Impact Assessment. The average company scores 50.9. Every three years, B Corps re-certify to prove continuous improvement as standards rise.

Our 2026 result: 104.6 points = 2x impact of a regular company.

Making cities more liveable, one bike at a time
Over half of our members didn’t cycle before Swapfiets, and 72% switched from cars or public transport to a bike. Together, our members save over 6,000 tons of CO₂ every year (± 34.000 car rides🤯).

Our subscription model drives circularity by default. Modular bikes emit 35% less CO₂ than linear models, and breakdowns are down 52% since 2018, extending product lifespans.
